Valerie Wolf Gang participated in SCI_ART 2024, the Art, Science and Technology Symposium held in Ottawa, Canada, on 6 and 7 April 2024.
On 6 April she joined the panel Possible Worlds: Social Impact in Art, Science and Technology Collaborations at the Ottawa Art Gallery. The discussion brought together artists, researchers and policy experts working across contemporary art, science and emerging technology.
On 7 April she led the workshop Strategies to Overcome Technophobia: The Ethical and Societal Impacts of Technological Developments at Club SAW. The workshop was presented by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia and the Slovenian Ministry of Culture.
SCI_ART is a two-day programme of panel discussions, artist talks, performances, screenings and workshops focused on new forms of collaboration between art and scientific research.
