Official Selection at Athens Digital Arts Festival

Valerie Wolf Gang’s film “m ā c h ĭ n ā m e n”, which was produced by KulturKontakt Austria, was selected to Athens Digital Arts Festival and will be screened in this year’s online version of the festival at: https://online.adaf.gr/

From the catalog, about the film:

“More than 50 years after the first moon landing, the step that once seemed so big for humankind does not seem to be big enough anymore. Insatiable in the quest for the next and more significant level, the man wants to go further and higher. Developments in robotics and artificial intelligence promise this today through an increasing fusion of man and machine.

The film shows an insight into our search for ever new adrenaline rushes through progress, based on the announcement of the first moon flight by US President J.F. Kennedy in 1961. It seems like a dream, where we have all the possibilities in the world. A similarity that we are seeking in amusement parks as well: to enjoy, forget and get a new rush of adrenaline to make our life better. Machine and man, hand in hand. m ā c h ĭ n ā m e n .”
